The Stone Hill Memorial Community Fund was established by Tina and Glenn Hill in memory of their son, Stone Dyllan Hill who passed away in 2015. To honor Stone’s giving spirit. they raise funds to award scholarships for qualifying seniors from Kennard-Dale, Red Lion, and North Harford high schools. The Stone Hill Memorial Community Fund also helps those in need in the community through food, fuel, and medical assistance. Thanks to previous donations, they have been able to raise enough funds to hand out 28 scholarships, as well as assist members of the community who are in need. Mark released his first studio album after signing with Nashville based record label Bar Frog Music in 2016. Two singles from his debut album charted in the top 40 on country music radio in 2017. With “For Love” topping out at #36, and “I Just Need a Drink” peaking at #32 on Music Row, Mark garnered enough attention to be in the running for Music Row Independent Artist of the Year for 2017. Although he did not get the award, his success on country music radio created momentum that landed Mark and the boys back in the studio where they recorded their second album called “Finish What I Start” that was released in the Summer of 2023.
The Steel Soul Cowboys, led by band leader and Maryland Music Hall of Famer, Dino Lisi, bring decades of combined experience in everything from country and rock, to blues and folk. the band has been nominated multiple times for regional awards like the Maryland Music Awards, while Mark has been nominated for Independent Country Music Association Male Artist of the Year twice.
